Vija MacAllister
March 30, 1927 - January 2, 2024
Vija passed away at the age 96 after a long battle with Alzheimers on January 2, 2024.
She was born in Cesis, Latvia on March 30, 1927 and arrived in Montreal, Canada in November 1947. She loved gardening, reading and Cooking many dishes.
She was predeceased by her son Donald Fan on Nov. 15, 1996 and her husband Donald Peter on Nov. 26, 2008.
She will be missed by her daughter Iona (Ray), her grandchildren Raelene (Andrew), Sean (Jen) and her grandchildren Roderick and Benjamin
In memory of Vija, a donation to a charity of choice would be appreciated. There will be no formal service at the request of her family.
