On May 4, surrounded by her children, our beloved mother Betty left us peacefully.

Betty was born on July 8, 1930 in Camrose, Alberta to Jack and Gayel Graham, they had three children; Betty, Myron and Larry. They were raised at Maple Grove farm west of Camrose. Betty later moved to Edmonton, met and married Tony Laliberte in 1952 and had three children; Dennis (Lisa), Dianna (Frank) and Rodney (Susan).  They were blessed with 7 grandchildren; Jason (Jackie), Beth, Kyle (Terrena), Laura (Matt), Byron (Alex), Kaitlyn (Mark), Emma and 6 great-grandchildren.

Betty was the secretary at Killarney Junior high for several years, and then moved on to own her own candy store called "The Nut House" at Northgate Mall.

Betty loved to travel to many parts of the world; Mexico and Hawaii were her favorites. She enjoyed music, dancing and a nice glass of white wine.

Betty was also a long-standing member of Beta Sigma Phi and was awarded the Golden Circle Certificate for 50 years of steadfast devotion to the virtues of Beta Sigma Phi. She made many lifelong friends.

Betty was very outgoing, made friends wherever she went, and loved good jokes. Country music was her favourite. She would sing along to the record player, play a song on the piano or using spoons on her fingers to keep the beat to a song.

Betty was predeceased by her husband Tony, parents; Jack and Gayel Graham and two brothers Myron and Larry.

We would like to thank the staff at Kensington Shepherds Care on the second floor for our mother’s wonderful care.
