Holli Jo-Anne Lemoine
Holli Jo-Anne Lemoine (née Prill), born May 22nd, 1961 in Edmonton, AB, passed away Thursday, January 8th, 2026, at the age of 64 in the presence of her loved ones.
Holli was the beloved wife of René, mother of two sons; Thomas (Jackie), James (Elodie), and grandma of four beautiful grandsons; Dexter, Felix, Jude, Lokan with one on the way.
Holli was survived by her brother Brian (Anne, Jason, Jennifer), and beloved sister Susan. She also leaves behind family who loved her dearly. Among them are her father-in-law Marcel, Sandra (Daren, Shanna), Paul and Esther (Jordan, Meagan, Gracie), Colette and Bruce (Samantha, Rob, Steven, Jenn, Evelyn, Bryan, Alicia), and Lucille and Jason (Gabrielle, Christopher, Emily). Holli will also be deeply missed by her dog, Eko, who was an endless source of comfort and companionship. Holli was predeceased by her mother Margret, mother-in-law Claudette, and brother-in-law Robert.
After her graduation from Jasper Place High School, Holli embarked on a position with the Government of Alberta Housing (1987). She left on Long Term Disability due to Multiple Sclerosis in 2018. Her last major project was the Slave Lake fires.
Honey Bunny, as René affectionately called her, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Holli had no hobbies, other than dressing her grandbabies in Roots clothing and feeding her dog Eko all her food. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends and fur-babies, whose lives were touched by her. We ask that you remember Holli for the way her life was lived, with corageous perseverance and the sweetest of dispositions in the midst of adversity.
The family chooses to celebrate Holli’s life privately, but appreciate your prayers and kind words of remembrance to a beautiful life well lived.
