Lena Sydonia Depner (Martel)
July 30, 1940 - July 2, 2021
Lena Depner (Martel) passed away peacefully at the Misericordia Hospital in Edmonton on Friday July 2nd, 2021.
She is survived by her children, Willy, Dean and Linda, her son-in-law Danny, her granddaughter Jordan and her Husband of 57 years Bill.
My heartfelt condolences to Jordan on the passing of her beloved Grandmother…what a blessing to have such a beautiful human in your life..to have a loving ally that lives within you.
Auntie, you have given me such guidance in my life. You never had judgment for me but only open arms. I remember the the many times we would talk about yardsales and porkchops on the BBQ and ugggh curling. Above all I want to thank you for that one day where you protected me and reminded me that I have Value. <3 Love You

I am heartbroken with the loss of dear Lena. She was a beautiful person – so kind, gentle and giving. She adored her family and lived her life so theirs could be better. Her warm and loving intentions run through all of us who knew her. And so she will be with us forever in our hearts and influencing the world in a wonderful way. Rest in peace lovely Lena – now an angel in our midst.
