It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorette L’Heureux (nee Duhamel) on Jan 9, 2023 at the age of 83. Lorette battled many health challenges over the years, but it never stopped her from living a full life of travel with her husband for as long as she could. Lorette was born on a small farm south of Lac La Biche, Alberta on Sept 27, 1939 to William & Louise Duhamel.

She was an amazing wife to Paul for over 64 years, mother to Murray, Clinton (Kelly), Clayton (deceased) & Emma (Ron) Bruinink. She was an unbelievable inspiration to her 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Lorette was loved by her large immediate family as well as from her siblings and her many many nieces & nephews. Lorette’s life also encased many good friends that she treated as part of her family.

Lorette was a talented seamstress who enjoyed doing her own beadwork on her handmade moose skin leather items.

She was preceded in death by her newborn son, clayton, both her parents & several sisters.

A celebration of Lorette’s life will be held at a later date

Those we Love Don't go Away.
They Walk Beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard but always near.
Still loved, still missed and always dear
