Margaret Elizabeth Cameron
On January 1st, 2026, our beautiful mom, Margaret Elizabeth Cameron (Ambler), passed from this life into the loving embrace of Jesus.
Born July 23rd, 1937, on the family farm in Pathlow, Saskatchewan, Marge devoted her life to caring for others.
On January 31st, 1958, Marge married Donald Cameron. Over the course of their 57 years of marriage, they raised 4 children. The family lived in multiple communities. Don and Marge retired in two of their favourite places, Candle Lake, Saskatchewan and Apache Junction, Arizona.
Marge found purpose in encouraging and praying for those she loved. Her home and heart were always open. She had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and deeply loved. She lived her life with grace, humility and a quiet strength, trusting God through every season. Love for her family and a steadfast faith were the foundation of her life. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and unconditional love.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Gordon (Beverley), Elaine (Ron) Brian, Lee-Ann (Dwayne) as well as her 8 grandchildren (Jennifer, Sabrina, Christina, Michelle, Jeremiah, Nicole, Jessica and Riana), 14 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, 6 step-grandchildren, many extended family members and dear friends.
Marge was predeceased by her husband Donald, her parents, siblings, grand daughter Laura and great grandson Dominic.
While our hearts are broken, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life and take comfort in knowing she is at peace, fully healed, and resting in the presence of her Saviour.
Honouring Mom’s wishes, we will not be holding a formal service at this time. We will gather at a later date in Candle Lake, Saskatchewan, and lay her to rest with Dad.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Until we meet again.
