Verna Leone Young
Always Loved ♥ Never Forgotten
Remembering Verna Leone Young, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother. Verna was born in Beaverlodge on September 21, 1932.
Verna is lovingly remembered by her family; three children Dianne, Peter, and Judie; six grandchildren Sarah (Barrie), Ashley (Mike), Megan, Robyn (Grayson), Tyler and Jessica (Ryan); and three great-grandchildren Rori, Karson, and Conner. Verna is also remembered by her two brothers Gilbert (Gloria) and Lyle, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Verna was predeceased by her parents Leonard and Margaret Jones, eight siblings Alicia, Irene, Rita, Laura, Joyce, Ruth, Thomas, William and two sisters-in-law Mary-Ann and Caroline.
As per her request a private service will be held at a later date.

Verna was our sister and also our good friend. We will miss our weekly phone calls which sometimes lasted quite a while. She was such a good mother to her children and was always there for them. Our hearts go out to Dianne, Peter and Judie for their loss. We know that she will always be looking down on you!
The good times we had with her will never be forgotten by us. It was so sad that you had to leave everyone that loved you, but you will be always loved and remembered.
