Daryl Nosko of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 67, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born on July 7, 1958, in Edmonton, Alberta, Daryl spent his life there, surrounded by family, friends, and the community he loved.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lou and Harry Nosko; his brother, Larry Lafreniere; his in-laws, Andrew and Ruby Lenders; and his brothers-in-law, Herb Link and Dale Lenders.

Daryl will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Darlene Nosko; his son, Travis Nosko (Sarah); his daughter, Afton Goldsmith (Jordan); and his cherished grandchildren, Payton, Ava, Taylor, and Wyatt. He is also remembered by his brothers, Brian Nosko (Kay) and Dale Nosko (Joyce); his sister, Pat Link; his brother-in-law, Dwyane Lenders; his sister-in-law, Cynthia Lenders; and many extended family members and friends.

Daryl dedicated 37 years of his professional life to ATCO Gas. He began his career as a general labourer, progressed to a journeyman gas fitter, and ultimately became General Manager before retiring in 2015. His strong work ethic, commitment, and leadership earned him the respect of colleagues across the organization.

Above all else, Daryl was a family man—a loving husband, a devoted father, and a proud and attentive Papa. He was a friend to everyone he met, always ready to lend a hand, share a laugh, or offer a cold beer. Daryl enjoyed golfing, fishing, attending car shows, and cheering on the Edmonton Oilers.

Daryl’s kindness, generosity, and quiet strength will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
