Surrounded by her loving family, Placida Abrantes of Edmonton passed away on December 20, 2021.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving sons Tony (Jennifer) and George (Helena); eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren as well as numerous relatives and many dear friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward; her daughter Fatima and two sons Joe and Eddie.

I am truly saddened by the news of Placida’s passing. I will always remember her as a beautiful person – inside and out – who took me under her wing. She was loyal to her friends and to the people she loved. She was admired for her strength of character and faith. May you feel God’s grace and mercy, knowing that she is now in His loving arms. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful lady!
