Brian Robert Atkinson

It is with Great Sadness and Broken Hearts that we Announce the Sudden passing of Brian Robert Atkinson on October 5, 2025 at the age of 53. Brian was born March 23, 1972 in Richmond Hill, Ontario, raised in Dunstable/Lac La None and Swan Hills, Alberta, he lived his adult years in City of Edmonton.

Brian was a fiercely devoted, dedicated and loving father to his Daughter Julia and his Son Jayden.They are the strong, resilient, respectful , smart, young adults they are today thanks to him. He was a proud and loyal Uncle to Meagen, Kayla and Shawn. He was a great friend to all that knew him.

Brian was a hard working man that built his career as an Electrician and a 30 year + proud member of IBEW Union 424 Edmonton. He loved belonging to the 424 Brotherhood,his Brothers’ were his Family.

“The Light at the End of the Tunnel was Installed by a Union Man!” he would always say!

He leaves behind a Legacy of laughter, good times, great moments and unconditional Love.
His Family and Friends will Forever remember him as a Genuine, Big hearted, Fun loving man that would do or give anything for them.

In keeping with Brian's Wishes, there will be no public service.
